Rugby Lib Dems Sandison and Roodhouse have shown their true colours. Like the national party, local Lib Dems have shown that when it comes to political gain and expediency, honesty plays second fiddle.
So it was a nice contrast today to learn about a Liberal Democrat councillor with some honour and who lives up to their words. Sharron Brook from Barnsley was not happy with the Coalition that her party has formed. She was caught in a quandry, and decided to ask her constituents for their opinion.
This week, based on the responses from people in her ward, she left the Lib Dems and is now sitting with Labour.There’s an interview with her here on LabourList.
