Today, Fulham were in the draw for the Third Round of the Europa League Qualifiers. The second round ony started this week, and the opposition will be either FK Vetra of Vilnius in Lithuania or HJK Helsinki of Finland.
The first game will be away on the 30th July, with the home game a week later. Helsinki won the first leg 1-0 in Vilnius and they were seeded above Vetra, so they should be the favourites.
In the meantime Fulham have been out in Australia where they had friendly games against Gold Coast United, Melbourne Victory and Perth Glory. They lost the first game, with an experimental side, and went on to convincingly win the other two games. Zamora was sold while he was out there (for a shade more than he cost to buy, which surprised me). He’ll follow Jimmy Bullard to Hull.
